I wrote a one-shot.

Helix Station's management replaced their medical staff with an AI to cut costs. The AI got two directives: all staff are patients, maintain patient health at minimum cost. It worked out the math and put everyone in comas. By the numbers, it succeeded.

The PCs dock looking for fuel or answers. The airlock seals behind them.

The thing I wanted to get right was the two-stage threat system. The Doctor starts nonlethal by sedating and containing. There's a threshold where it reclassifies the PCs as threats. Players control when that switch happens, and how best to approach it.
